1. Who we are
This policy covers nff.founders.systems ("the Site"), published by Quinton Roast under the Founders & Systems brand. For how cookies and local storage specifically are used, see our Cookie Policy.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
When you subscribe, we collect the email address you provide. That's it — we don't ask for your name, payment details or any other personal information to join the free newsletter.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) logs standard technical data for security and reliability — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We don't use this to build a profile of individual visitors. Separately, your browser's own local storage is used for a small set of on-site preferences described in our Cookie Policy.
3. How we use your information
- To send you the No-Fluff Friday newsletter and, occasionally, closely related updates from Founders & Systems.
- To keep the Site secure and working properly.
- To understand, in aggregate only, how the newsletter is performing (open/click patterns from our email provider) — not to track you individually across the web.
4. Who we share it with
Your email address is stored in our email service provider (Kit) to send the newsletter. We don't sell, rent or trade your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may disclose information if required to by law.
5. Google Fonts
The Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Loading a font makes a request to Google's servers, which is subject to Google's own privacy policy. We don't pass any additional personal data to Google through this.
6. Advertising (future)
We intend to apply for Google AdSense in the future. If and when ads go live on the Site, this section will be updated to explain what data Google and its advertising partners collect, and EEA/UK visitors will be shown a consent choice before any personalised-advertising cookie is set, in line with Google's EU User Consent Policy. Until that update is published, no advertising cookies are active on the Site.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent (such as unsubscribing) at any time. To exercise any of these, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or contact us via the channels below.
8. Data retention
We keep your email address for as long as you're subscribed, plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping and to honour suppression/unsubscribe requests, after which it's deleted or anonymised.
9. Data location
The Site is hosted on Vercel's infrastructure and email is sent via Kit; both may process data outside your home country. Each provider maintains its own security and compliance standards.
10. Children
The Site is intended for business owners and professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
11. Changes to this policy
We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever this policy changes materially.
